Flexibility/Stretching
Correct
stretching practice makes the world of difference
to how you perform during exercise or general
activity and whether you are able to release
and relax. There are several types and techniques
for stretching the muscles in the body, with
each having different effects. Knowing what
muscles to stretch, when to stretch and how
to stretch has a major influence on the resulting
effect to the muscle. Therefore stretching can
either improve or impede your sporting performance
or state of relaxation.
We
use a combination of yoga practice and philosophy
with western science in all of our private and
group sessions to correctly prepare you for
the activities to come and to ensure you finish
the session in a relaxed, calm mindset.
During
our session we emphasis the two general facts
about stretching:
1.
Dynamic stretching and Range of Motion movement
to prepare muscles and joints for fast, strong
movement,
2. Static stretching to encourage muscles to
release and relax, leaving the body balanced
and loose.
So
if you want to release the daily stresses, join
us for a fun, effective exercise program that
will balance your body and promote relaxation.
Under the guidance of an experienced and knowledgeable
instructor, you will quickly feel the holistic
effect on both your body and mind.
