Posture
Having
correct posture is important during our daily
lives to relieve tension, promote relaxation,
reduce arthritis and ensure skeletal longevity.
Once we start moving faster or under more load
(exercising), posture becomes essential to maximise
performance and reduce the risk of injury. Therefore
a big emphasis is based on posture and technique
during our Personal and Group sessions at Foreshore
Fitness.
Correct
spinal alignment and joint angles ensures that
when under load, our bodies are able to move
correctly whilst preventing/minimising both
lower/upper back and neck injuries. To maintain
correct spinal alignment under load, having
strong, balanced core strength and muscular
balance on the limbs is necessary. Shown here
are two common exercises that are often not
well executed, when an experienced personal
trainer is not present to monitor safe technique.
