Training
Experience:
I had the privilege of
starting my martial arts training with some
pretty awesome teachers in Vic in 1991, in both
the Zen Do Kai system and Tai Chi Australia.
Picking up Yoga soon after created a great balance
to my training, which soon took my journey on
a path of challenging and improving my mind
body link. The effect this has had on my abilities
in the water and on the bike has been great,
being fitter and stronger to make each session
more fun and enjoyable.
I
shifted to WA in 1999 and continued my martial
arts journey with some great warriors and soon
after began incorporating scientific principals.
This has enabled the training for my clients
and for myself to hit a new gear.
Juggling
a full-time professional engineering career
for several years with being a martial arts
instructor and lover of sports, required structure
and learning how to train smart and efficiently
- as time has always been a rare commodity for
me. Nowadays, my clients and I only use smart,
effective and efficient training techniques
in getting the results we need.
For
several years now my focus has been on becoming
one of the best fitness trainers in Perth and
I am loving the journey and the challenges that
present. I am continually improving my abilities
by working alongside physiotherapists and by
refining training techniques from new discoveries
of old and new practices.
For
me, smart training is about understanding the
abilities of a client, their goals and the best
way to get there. Getting there efficiently
and effectively is what real personal training
is all about.
